|Goood Morning Campers,
Just a small note in regard to Guild Crafters and donations.
A few small changes have happened as a result of the expansion, which has meant that the small group of guild crafters have been working furiously to get profs levelled to be of help to the guild.
Please be aware of these key points when considering crafters:
Guild Crafters were introduced to make it easier for Strikers to identify the person to make donations to, and as a 1st point to go to when requiring any professions.
In many cases, the Guild Crafters are alts or secondary characters for officers, this means that in addition to levelling professions they may need to spend time levelling. Pre WOTLK, most of the crafters were level 70 and max profs, but this is no longer the case so we request your understanding and patience with the time & gold investments it takes to level.
Please note that in ALL cases, donations made either to the guild bank or directly to the crafters are used towards the guild, either to help level professions for those people who are trying to max skills, or used directly in crafting for guildies.
Please note that although the crafters will always try to check our guild vault or our own banks for mats, the mats are very expensive and if you are requesting something be crafted, please ensure you are able to provide mats before requesting something.
Guild crafters unlike other crafters will not request tips, but please be aware that any time we use something from a donation it is appropriate to consider donating gold or items to the bank
Please also understand that any donations you make, although much appreciated may not yield the exact mats that you need, so we do treat donations as exactly that.
In addition to people who are actually titled "Guild Crafters" there are great many people in the guild who have generously taken the time to use their professions to help out the guild. It's very nice to see such a large group of people working together to help each other. Please be just as courteous when asking of anything of anyone in the guild. If you need something, be ready to provide the mats, it's just fair.
I hope this helps, the officers will be regrouping to see who has what skill and reviewing guild crafters. The main points are, PLEASE don't expect the impossible
